Exceptionally Large flowers in a range of cheerful colors bloom over dense green foliage with a more upright habit. Carpet your hot sunny areas in vibrant colors from early summer to frost. Very vigorous and fast growing plants that continue to bloom all summer. These spreading succulent perennials thrive on neglect in poor quality soil but with good drainage. Very heat and drought tolerant.
Use as a carefree ground cover in full to part sun or as stunning rock garden and container accents. The small plants make a big impact in mass plantings. Excellent for containers.

Grow in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Prefers a dryish, sandy soil. Good soil drainage is essential for the plant, particularly in winter where moist to wet soils can be fatal. Avoid overwatering. Good tolerance for drought and heat. Best grown in a sheltered location in our zone 5 and protect in winter with mulch.
Easily propagated by breaking off short pieces and simply sticking them into the ground; new roots will form within just a few weeks.
No serious insect or disease problems. Watch for aphids and mealybugs.
