Plant Care

Sun: Full Sun
Water: Average
Maintenance: Low
Growth Rate: Moderate

Grow in full sun. Prefers average to moist conditions and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. Follow a regular watering schedule especially during the first growing season to help establish a deep, extensive root system. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments.

This is a relatively low maintenance tree and should not require much pruning, except to remove dieback. This should be done in late winter. It has no significant negative characteristics.
